Ironton City Council swears in new Council member at July 21st meeting

(Ironton, MN) — The Ironton City Council appointed a new Council member and reviewed signage needs for roads during the meeting on Wednesday, July 21st.
Deerwood Police Chief Mark Taylor mentioned to the Council on signage on Crow Wing County Road 30.
The Council is also planning on holding Kids Fest for the last weekend in August. In a matter relating to Planning and Zoning, Council member Rose Stromberg and resident Barb Risnes conferred over the legitimacy of a building application.
The Council moved to extend the application deadline to August 30th. Jeff Midthun was also sworn into the open Council seat and will serve the rest of the current term.
The Ironton City Council is next scheduled to meet Wednesday, August 4th at 6pm.
