Experience the History of the Norman County Fair at the Norman County Historical Society
Ada, MN — Experience the history of Norman County and the history of the Norman County Fair at the Norman County Historical Society Museum during the 125th Norman County Fair. The museum, which also provides a space to cool down and get out of the sun, even has a special exhibit showcasing that history, according to Director Solveig Kitchell.
Kitchell talks about the first Norman County Fair and how it got started, or how it almost didn’t get started.
Solveig encourages people to stop in the museum and chat about the history of the fair and explore all the buildings and exhibits throughout the prairie village during the Norman County Fair.
The Norman County Historical Society Prairie Village and Museum is open each day during the fair from 11am until 6pm. They encourage families to stop by and take the history quiz!
