Hillsboro Days Returns with Five Days of Fun in 2021

Hillsboro, ND — Experience the fun that is Hillsboro Days, which gets underway today (Wednesday) and continues through Sunday. Food, fun family activities, live music, and more highlight the annual event that returns after the brief hiatus that occurred last year as a result of the pandemic.

A youth track meet for kids ages 4-12 meet kicks off Hillsboro Days today at the Hillsboro Track at 5:45pm. Thursday, Hillsboro Days offers a free lunch, 5K, and movie night at a new location, according to Hillsboro Business Association President JR Strom.

On Friday, Miller’s Fresh Foods will be offering an appreciation breakfast and outdoor produce sale. In the evening much of the activity heads to main street where the kiddie tractor pull, car show, party in the Vets Club parking lot, and free root beer floats courtesy KRJB will be taking place. Thunder Ridge will have music in the beer garden at the AnR Bar Friday night from 9pm until 1pm.

Saturday morning fuel up with the Knight’s of Columbus Pancake Breakfast from 6:30-9am and take in the parade downtown at 9. After that, Strom invites everyone to let the inner competitor out and take part in one of the many friendly competitions throughout the day.

Hillsboro Days wraps up on Sunday with an all-faith’s worship at Woodland Park and the State Antique Tractor Pull at Heritage Park.

Strom adds that Hillsboro Days continues to grow, which is a testament to the support from the community.
