Twin Valley City Council Opens New RV Camping; Splash Park Making Progress
Twin Valley, MN — The Twin Valley City Council held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, June 14th at the Twin Valley Community Center. At the meeting, the council took action to officially establish a new RV park to the west of the Municipal Liquor Store. Twin Valley Mayor Ben Fall says the new RV park, which has electric, water, and sewer hookups, is all set up and ready for renters.
Camping spots at the new RV park are available for $25 a night or $100 a week.
The Twin Valley City Council also received an update from the Public Works department on the new multi-use bridge across. Mayor Fall says that former wooden walking bridge was taken out by a drunk-driver last year and the new one will be simpler, but accommodate larger recreational vehicles.
And the city has been getting lots of questions lately about when the splash park will be up and running. Fall says the splash pad and building are nearly complete and they are just waiting on some plumbing fixtures.
The Twin Valley City Council also approved a number of building permits.
