PRCA Rodeo Returns to Hawley this Friday & Saturday
Hawley, MN — Hawley, Minnesota turns into the Wild West this weekend as the PRCA Rodeo comes to town during the annual Hawley Rodeofest. The Hawley Rodeo is a long-standing tradition that dates back to 1960, but that tradition was skipped over last year during the pandemic. Gretchen Kirchmann, spokesperson for the PRCA Rodeo, says they are extremely grateful to be back in Hawley.
The Hawley Rodeo will feature two complete events this Friday and Saturday, June 11th and 12th. Gates open at 5pm each day. Kirshmann encourages rodeo goers to get their early to get a good seat on the hill and take in all the action.
Kirschmann travels all over the United States with the PRCA rodeo, which is the largest and oldest rodeo sanctioning body in the world, but she notes that this is one of her favorite stops each year.
Tickets for the Hawley Rodeo are $13 in advance or $16 at the gate for adults and children are $6 in advance or $8 at the gate. A Friday Family Night Ticket Deal is also available. For tickets or more information, go online to www.hawleyrodeo.com.
