The 911 call came from an occupant of that residence who witnessed the fire being intentionally set. Upon arrival, firefighters noticed flames coming out a window of home’s upper level. Upon entry, firefighters discovered a fully involved structure fire in the upstairs bedroom. Fire crews contained the fire within approximately 5 minutes of arrival. Overhaul efforts continued for the next hour and a half. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal Division and Becker County Sheriffs Office responded to the scene in the morning hours of June 2 to assist with the investigation.
