REACH Celebrating 30 Years
Hawley, MN — Next Thursday, June 3rd join REACH, the Rural Enrichment and Counseling Headquarters, in celebrating their 30th Anniversary Party at the St. Andrews Church Parking Lot in Hawley. REACH is a multiagency human service center serving children, individuals, and families residing in rural Clay, Norman, and West Becker Counties. Executive Director Peggie Chisholm talks about the origins of REACH and its growth over the past three decades.
The 30th Anniversary Party will feature live music from the Front Fenders, a youth kickball tournament, fashion show, bike raffle, cereal box dominoes, and more, according to Chisholm.
Root beer floats and popcorn will also be served during the event while it lasts. As for the next 30 years of REACH, Chisholm says they have goals of continuing to grow and expand to meet the changing needs of their service area.
The REACH 30th Anniversary Party is also a kickoff to the annual Hawley Rodeofest, which runs June 3rd through June 12th.
