Norman County History Museum Opens for Season this Memorial Day Weekend
Ada, MN — The Norman County History Museum opens for the summer this Memorial Day weekend. They will be open on Saturday from 1 until 4pm and Monday from 10am until 4pm. The exhibits featured in the museum this year are the same as last year’s, which is because the museum wasn’t able to open to fully the public last summer due to the pandemic. Norman County History Museum Director Solveig Kitchell says among those being featured this year is a history of schools, 1940’s dining room, World War II exhibits, and a history of the Norman County Fair.
Also on display is a collection of Ada Vikings memorabilia and clothing. Throughout the rest of the summer the Norman County History Museum, which is located adjacent to the Norman County Fairgrounds, will be open Tuesdays through Thursday from 9am until 5pm, Saturdays from 1-4pm, or by appointment.
