Norman-Mahnomen Public Health Talks Roles Moving Forward Post-Pandemic

Ada, MN — COVID-19 vaccinations rates are climbing, positive cases are dropping, and statewide restrictions are ending. For most of us, it appears the COVID-19 pandemic is ending. But what about for frontline workers like those in Public Health? Norman-Mahnomen Public Health Director Sarah Kjono says while they can now focus more of their efforts on their usual duties, they’ll likely still be dealing with COVID-19 issues for the foreseeable future.

Kjono adds that if COVID-19 sticks around in the future, there’s a lot of questions around whether or not the quarantine process will continue, especially if vaccinations remain high.

Norman-Mahnomen Public Health continues to offer COVID-19 vaccines for anyone age 12 and up. For more information, please call 784-5425 for the Ada office or 935-2527 for the Ada office.
