Ada, MN — During her monthly visit on the KRJB Kaleidoscope Program, Norman County Extension Educator Heather Dufault shared information on an excited new webinar series called Field Notes, a new University of Minnesota Extension weekly webinar program designed for farmers and agricultural professionals, that will address crop-related questions in an interactive, discussion-based format.

The program began in April and continues throughout the 2021 growing season on Wednesday mornings from 7:30 to 8 a.m.  Dufualt says the program will be addressing in-season cropping issues as they arise.

Because the webinars are live, participants can submit questions to guest panelists. April and May sessions will cover corn and soybean planting management, while pest management and agronomics will be featured as issues arise.

Dufault says the discussion-based series will be posted to podcast-streaming services to listen at your convenience and are a great way to start your day.

To register, visit the University of Minnesota Extension website and search “Field Notes.”
