Crosby City Council discusses Chamber agreement, Campground capacity at April 26th meeting

(Crosby, MN) — The Crosby City Council met Monday night to review the capacity of the campground and a marketing request from the Economic Development Committee from the City Council Chambers.
The Council did approve requests for Special Events from the Cuyuna Lakes Chamber of Commerce 2021 Time and Material Maintenance Contract with Backyard Reflections, Sourcewell Shared Services Agreement for Community Development Services, hiring two temporary seasonal employees for the Public Works Department, accept the resignation of the Administrative Assistance Pam Rogness and begin for a replacement.
City Administrator Matthew Hill presented an agreement with the City of Crosby and the Cuyuna Lakes Chamber of Commerce for approval.
The Council did not approve the agreement contingent on attending Chamber Special Event Planning meetings and further clarification on details pertaining City funds to the Chamber. Administrator Hill also opened discussion on the opening of the city campground to 100-percent capacity.
The Campground opens May 4th after the Council approved the opening being at 100-percent capacity. Hill also presented a marketing request from the Economic Development Committee.
The Crosby City Council will meet again on Monday, May 10th at 6pm.
