The Legendary Women of Brainerd Schools will be inducting eight into their ranks this Spring. We spoke with Sherri DeLaHunt and Joey Halvorson about the history of the group.
For more information on those being inducted, visit this Facebook page about Brainerd history.
With COVID-19 protocols and distancing still observed, the details for the induction ceremony and celebration:
First, a comprehensive video of the inductees of the Class of 2021, consisting of approximately 250 photographs from their lives, were collected and readied for production by Dan Hegstad, Easy Street Productions. The video features a moving introduction by committee chair Lisa Salo, a narration of the abbreviated biographies of each inductee, also by Lisa Salo, and concluding remarks by BPS Superintendent Laine Larson.
