Conservation officer Bob Mlynar talks Spring safety efforts, seasons before retirement

(Aitkin, MN) — Conservation officer Bob Mlynar is in final weeks serving the State of Minnesota and the Department of Natural Resources but he was kind enough to give us an update heading into the Spring.
Officer Mlynar noted his transition into retirement which includes training the next crop of Conservation officers.
At this time of year, as ice melts on the lakes and fishermen are trying to catch the last bites of the season, extra caution needs to be prevalent.
Officer Mlynar also touched on a recent change for ATV riders in Aitkin County.
Spring burning bans are also going into effect.
