(Duluth, MN) — The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be going virtual again with a public meeting for the latest information on the Twin Ports Interchange Project in Duluth on Monday, March 29th at 12:125pm.
MnDOT is making a concerted effort to help limit the spread of COVID-19 by not holding in-person public meetings until further notice. The virtual meeting will provide participants an opportunity to meet with MnDOT staff and ask questions.
A link for the virtual meeting is available with this story at www.rjbroadcasting.com. Those without internet access can also join by calling 855-282-6330 and enter the access code (146 970 4747). For those unable to attend the meeting live, a recording will be posted on the project webpage to view when convenient.
Currently the TPI will have traffic impacts beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 26, with northbound I-35 closing near 27th Avenue West in Duluth. During the closure, traffic will be routed up and back down the 27th Avenue West ramps. Closures are anticipated to last through the evening of Saturday, March 27. This work is needed as crews continue to install bridge decks and girders for the new 27th Avenue West Bridge.
