Shelly Fire & Rescue Hosting Pancake Breakfast Funding this Saturday
Shelly, MN — The Shelly Fire and Rescue are pleased to welcome you to enjoy their Pancake Breakfast fundraiser this Saturday, March 27th from 7am until 10am at the Shelly Community Center. It’ll be one of the first in-person community events in Shelly since the pandemic. Jonathan Sorenson of the Shelly Fire and Rescue Department says last year’s event was cancelled, but they’re bringing it back this weekend with a number of safety measures in place.
The pancake breakfast will feature all the usual fixings such as eggs and sausage served up by members of the Shelly Fire and Rescue Department, but new this year is a takeout option for those who feel safer eating at home.
This Saturday’s breakfast in Shelly is a free will offering and all proceeds will go towards the Fire and Rescue Department, which hasn’t been able to do any fundraising for the past year. Sorenson says along with the usual maintenance and replacement needs, money raised will also help cover some potential safety upgrades as well.
Again, the Shelly Fire and Rescue Pancake Breakfast is this Saturday, March 27th from 7am until 10am at the Shelly Community Center. The number for takeout is 218-886-7525.
