(Crosby, MN) — Spring activities, sports, and Orthopaedic injuries often show up together with the Spring weather changing day-to-day. This serves as the perfect opportunity to reconnect with Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Klassen on his service and what people can do to hopefully keep their bodies safe with the Spring thaw.
Dr. Klassen notes he sees injuries from a wide range of patients at CRMC.
One of the more common elbow procedures Dr. Klassen performs, often known at Tommy John Surgery, is evolving along with those that are affected by injuries to their elbow ligaments.
The change in weather will also be changing the types of injuries coming to Dr. Klassen, but there has been no shortage of work.
Dr. Klassen also noted his surgical work isn’t always the first decision in patient treatment.
