Norman County Raceway/Red River Valley Speedway Host Awards Banquet
Ada, MN — Norman County Raceway and Red River Valley Speedway celebrated their 2020 season and previewed the 2021 race season at their annual awards banquet on Saturday at the Ada Events Center. A great crowd of racers, crew, sponsors, and fans were in attendance. Jake Bitker, owner of Norman County Raceway and Red River Valley Speedway, talked after the banquet about the 2020 season and what they were able to accomplish despite the COVID-19 setbacks.
Looking ahead to 2021, it appears signs are pointing to a closer return to normal. Bitker is optimistic and is excited to get the tracks prepped and ready for this summer’s race season.
Running a race track is no easy task, let along two. Bitker thanked all those who help make it possible.
Red River Valley Speedway is expected to get underway May 7th and Norman County Raceway will kickoff their season on June 3rd. Full schedules are expected to be released soon. Perhaps the biggest change this year is the addition to of the IMCA Race Saver Sprint Cars to the weekly line-up at Red River Valley Speedway, They will also alternate weeks at Norman County Raceway with the IMCA Modifieds.
