Traill County District Health Hosting Vaccination Clinics in Hillsboro & Portland This Week
Hillsboro, ND — Traill District Health Unit has announced plans for two COVID-19 vaccination clinics for Traill County residents this week. The first of which will be held at the Hillsboro Armory this Thursday, March 11th from 1-4pm. The next will be held at the Portland Norseman Hall on Friday, March 12th from 12-3pm. Those currently eligible for the vaccine include individuals 65 and older, any adult with medical conditions, childcare workers, and K-12 education staff. Brenda Stallman with Traill District Health Unit says they are slowly working their way through the priority groups, but anticipate vaccine allotments to ramp up soon.
So far in Traill County, they’ve administered roughly 1,400 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and most importantly have been able to vaccinate all of their highest priority group, according to Stallman.
Stallman also adds that even though vaccinations are underway and more are coming, COVID-19 is still a concern in Traill County with new positive cases daily, so there’s no reason to let our guard down yet.
