Area Students Participate in Engineering Challenge
Mahnomen, MN — Given just 30 pieces of paper and tape, could you build a structure strong enough to hold a can of vegetables? That’s an experiment that Mahnomen students involved in the afterschool STEAM program are trying to figure out. Aimee Pederson of the Mahnomen School District talks more about the Fluor Engineering Challenge and how it works.
9th grade students in the Fisher School District are also participating in the Fluor Engineering Challenge. You can see some photos of their creations on the Fisher School Facebook page.
