Norman County East Students Return to In-Person Learning on Thursday
Twin Valley, MN — Students at the Norman County East school will return back to the classrooms tomorrow after going into distance learning for two weeks following an outbreak of COVID-19 amongst the student body. Norman County East Principal Dustin Flaten says they’ve been able to monitor the situation through mass testing events and are excited and ready to have the kids back.
Principal Flaten hopes that the outbreak will be used as a learning experience about the importance about not letting their guard down and practicing good COVID behavior. To further remind them, they are bringing in their local Public Health nurse to reiterate the message upon their return.
Pending they are cleared by Minnesota State High School Guidelines, students at Norman County East can begin participating in extracurricular activities as of today.
