During a recent conversation on the KKCQ Food for Thought program, Polk/Norman Extension Education shared information on exciting program aimed at empowering women in agriculture called Annie’s Project. Annie’s Project isn’t necessarily geared at creating better female farmers and ranchers but is actually intended to help out women on the business side, specifically the risks such as financial, human resources, legal, marketing, and production. Heather Default comments on her experience with the program and future plans for the project.
