Lake Park-Audubon School Board Recap
Lake Park, MN — The Lake Park-Audubon School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, February 22nd. At a previous meeting it was announced that Superintendent Dr. Paula Henry would be resigning at the end of the current school year. Dr. Henry says it was a difficult decision and stated personal reasons for her stepping down.
The Lake Park-Audubon School Board is moving quickly on finding a replacement. They plan to name their next Superintendent sometime in April.
The board also got an update from their Growth & Long-Term Planning Committee. One of the items being discussed is an expansion of their Career & Technical Education offerings, according to Dr. Henry.
And good news for those for those involved in the LPA Summer Literacy Academy. Superintendent Henry says they will be able to offer bussing as part of that program.
The Lake Park-Audubon School Board meets on the 4th Monday of each month.
