(Brainerd, MN) — The Crow Wing County Highway Maintenance Department will be working multiple projects during the week throughout the county.

County maintenance crews will perform brush and nuisance tree removal along County Road 120 in Ideal Township, County Road 145 in Jenkins Township, CSAH 10 in Deerwood Township, and CSAH 8 in Nokay Lake Township throughout the week.

Maintenance crews will be working in the drive lane and on the shoulders simultaneously, creating the need to close one or more lanes on traffic. Signing, flaggers, or portable traffic lights will control the traffic flow through these work areas.

County snowplows are also prepared for the presence of snow or ice conditions this week. Crow Wing County anticipates having snowplows at the ready Monday and this coming Saturday. All maintenance work is weather sensitive and is subject to delay or change. For up-to-date information on the county highway system, or to report a roadway issue, contact the Crow Wing County Highway Department at 218-824-1110 or visit www.crowwing.us.
