Fertile-Beltrami School Board Discusses Return to In-Person; Looking into Potential Hockey Co-Op
Fertile, MN — It was a light agenda for the Fertile-Beltrami School Board at their meeting last Tuesday, February 9th. The district recently just switched back to full, in-person learning for all grade levels for the first time since this spring. They also had some staff members join their board meeting in-person for the first team in a while as well. Fertile-Beltrami Superintendent Brian Clarke says one of their teachers, Brian Nelson, chimed in at the meeting to provide some positive feedback on the return to in-person learning.
Superintendent Clarke also reported on the adjustment process to having all the students back in the building but noted things have been going really well from his perspective as well.
Under the Activities Director Report, the Fertile-Beltrami School is exploring the possibility of a hockey co-op with a neighboring school. Clarke notes that they’ve done this before when they’ve had students interested in playing the sport in year’s past.
The Fertile-Beltrami School Board also approved their seniority list and approved hiring Carter Burke as a Jr. High Basketball Coach.
