Don’t Procrastinate on Flower Orders; Keep Flowers Protected from the Cold
Ada, MN — Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and because it is on a Sunday this year, you are encouraged to get your orders in even earlier if you want them delivered. Sunflowers in Ada is asking people to get their orders in by Thursday or even earlier if they would like them delivered. Owner Tammy Sargent says the longer you wait, the lesser the selection that may be available. Also because flowers don’t do well in the cold, Sargent says they are taking precautions to make sure they aren’t damaged.
When transporting flowers in the cold, make sure to keep the wrapped with a bag and limit their exposure to the cold as much as possible. And if you want to go a different route, Sunflowers also has blooming plants, balloons, candy, and stuffed animals for that special someone.
