(PIERZ, MN) — The city of Pierz held a regular council meeting on Monday, February 8. We spoke with Mayor Dave Fischer to hear about how it went.

Fischer began by noting that the city approved the postponement of the Knights of Columbus’ annual Buffalo Feed and Raffle to May 22 of this year.

Additionally, the city approved a loan extension with Midwest Processors, which Fischer said has been a beneficial partnership for years.

An LRIP (Local Road Improvement Program) application for Centennial Drive was also approved, and that would involve a partnership between the city and Morrison county.

Fischer wrapped up by explaining the process involved with the LRIP application and what would come out of it should the city receive the funding.

We thank Mayor Fischer for his time. The city of Pierz will hold its next regular council meeting on February 22. Our full interview with Fischer can be found below.
