St. Michael’s Catholic School Participating in National Catholic Schools Week
Mahnomen, MN — This week is National Catholic Schools Week, which is a week to celebrate and showcase Catholic education in the United States. The St. Michael’s Catholic School in Mahnomen is taking part in the celebration this year and are observing the special occasion with Masses, community service, and a variety of fun activities, according to St. Michael’s Principal Sarah Chalich.
The theme for National Catholic Schools Week is: Faith, Excellence, Service, which highlights the advantages of choosing a Catholic School.
Small class sizes are also a benefit to enrolling in a Catholic School. The largest class size at St. Michael School is ten students, which Principal Chalich says allows for more individualized attention towards students and allows staff to more swiftly intervene when students are falling behind.
