(Aitkin, MN) — Lynne Jacobs of Aitkin County CARE was back after an almost two month absence to converse about how CARE’s respite workers are working even harder than ever after the first month of 2021.
Jacobs says the respite and care workers have been non-stop even with the pandemic offering hope of vaccines being administered to their clients in Aitkin County.
Aitkin County CARE has been one of only a handful of organizations that keep their employees working throughout the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Respite workers also offer essential help beyond medical needs.
Jacobs says that CARE is available to help all, regardless of income.
Given the times of the “new normal” we live in, CARE is also continuing to provide classes virtually.
