Brush clearing, tree removal continues for Crow Wing County Highway Maintenance

(Brainerd, MN) — The Crow Wing County Highway Maintenance Department will be continuing with clearing brush and tree removal with other projects throughout the County this week.

County maintenance crews will be keep on with clearing brush and nuisance tree removal along County Road 10 in Garrison Township, CSAH 145 in Jenkins Township, CSAH 11 in Mission Township, County Road 8 in Bay Lake and Nokay Lake Townships, and CSAH 24 in Maple Grove Townships throughout the week.

County snowplows will also be at the ready if snow and ice conditions are present. 

Maintenance crews may be working in the drive lane and on the shoulders simultaneously, creating the need to close one or more lanes of traffic. Signing, flaggers, or portable traffic lights will control the flow of traffic through these work areas.
