Lake Park-Audubon School Board Discusses Communication Plan for Building Referendum
Audubon, MN — The Lake Park-Audubon School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, January 25th as well as a special work session prior. The special work session centered around the upcoming referendum election this fall. The Lake Park-Audubon is bringing a more than twenty million dollar elementary renovation project to voters in November, but leading up to that vote the district needs to find ways to communicate and market the project to the community, according to Lake Park-Audubon Superintendent Dr. Paula Henry.
More information about the proposed building referendum can be found at www.lpapavetheway.com.
The Lake Park-Audubon School Board also had some budget discussions at their meeting this week. Dr. Henry notes that they are doing well financially despite setbacks from COVID-19.
The Lake Park-Audubon School Board meets on the 4th Monday of each month.
