Crosby-Ironton School Board updates Strategic Planning, MSBA Conference at January 25th meeting

(Aitkin, MN) — Strategic Planning and a big announcement for a Board Member were covered Monday night from the Crosby-Ironton Board of Education meeting.
Crosby-Ironton Superintendent Dr. Jamie Skjeveland provided to the School Board an update on the District’s Strategic Planning initiatives.
Some of those goals and the future of the District were also further enhanced with recent activity from Board members at the Minnesota School Board Association virtual Conference.
Thursday will also be a special moment for one board member.
At Monday’s School Board meeting, approval for hirings of Lori Esler and Lindsay Ecklund as Paraprofessionals, the resignations of Shannon Larson, Katie Hakes, and Randall Swanhorst, and medical leave for Char Saley, was given.
The Board also approved of extending the deadline for staff leave by the Families First Coronavirus Recovery Act to March 31st for the Crosby-Ironton School District.
The Crosby-Ironton Board of Education is next scheduled to meet on February 22nd.
