(Brainerd, MN) — The Lakes Area Music Festival will be presenting their second Winter Series concert this Saturday, January 23rd starting at 7pm, broadcasted on the Festival’s Facebook page and website.

Beauty in Chaos, Hope in Order will feature music from the 17th century for strings, harpsichord, and theorbo, performed on replicas of the instruments that would have been used at the time.

Chloe Fedor, violinist and recently announced Festival artistic director, curated this program that has been praised by the New York Times. Fedor will also take part of an informal Q&A session the day of the performance at 10am to discuss the program, her life, and development as a musician, and her new role as artistic director of the Lakes Area Music Festival.

Beauty in Chaos, Hope in Order will be offered without charge, but instead the Lakes Area Music Festival will be accepting any donations where the concert is offered.
