Bowling through the Pandemic
Ada, MN – One of the entertainment or activities that was shut down in Minnesota with the Governors executive orders was Bowling. That has affected business for the local lanes, including ARC Lanes in Ada, which is allowed 25% capacity when it comes to bowling. Andy Wagner of ARC Lanes spoke of the changes and challenges they have experienced with the most recent shut down.
While it’s been a challenge to adapt, ARC Lanes is able to accommodate anything from dine in, take out, to hosting a birthday party, with size restrictions of course. One thing that has come back is the Ada Borup Phy-Ed classes being able to utilize the lanes for teaching their Bowling curriculum.
Bowling is an activity that can span many age groups, and Wagner encourages you to call ahead and reserve time on the lanes and encourage the youth to get involved and try the sport and activity.
