Mahnomen School Board Meeting Recap
Mahnomen, MN – The Mahnomen School board began the new year with the proper re-organization of the board, and Superintendent Jeff Bisek said that not much will change as the board returns as re-elected board members. Bisek said that this board continues to do good things and works well together for the betterment of the school and community.
On the agenda, the board received an update on the enrollment as the second semester is coming up quickly, and the enrollment of in-person learning at the Mahnomen School will be increasing by over 100 students. Plus, Bisek informs of the updates received from the State pertaining to in-person learning.
When the school year began, the Mahnomen High School was at about 40% in-person learning and 60% full distance, and they expect that when the second semester begins, the high school will be closer to 80% in person learning with the 4 day hybrid system.
