Hill City School Board elects new Board Chair, Vice Chair to usher in 2021

(Hill City, MN) — The Hill City School District started the year with a new Board Chair and Vice Chair as part of their yearly renewals at their School Board Meeting from Tuesday, January 5th.
Superintendent Pat Rendle spoke about the election of Jay Zapzalka to Board Chair and Sarah Kingsley as Vice Chair, after the former Chair’s long tenure with the Board.
The Board moved forward with appointing a board member and school representatives to represent the district to the MSHSL and their numerous committees. Superintendent Rendle also talked about the addition of a new Board member to fill a vacancy.
The Hill City School Board is scheduled to meet again on Tuesday, January 26th at 6pm.
