The annual committee appointments were also set on Tuesday. Mayor Hintz says this year they added some fresh faces to the committees to change things up a bit.

Under the Moore Engineering report, the council approved a resolution of support to seek out Local Road Improvement Program funding for reconstruction of West Main Street from 5th Ave West to 210 Ave.

And Mayor Hintz noted that the Ada City Council also decided to move forward with the repairs on the west racquetball court at the Dekko Center, which suffered water damage several months ago.

The cost of the repairs is just over $70,000. The Ada City Council also approved $15,000 towards Public Works equipment repairs, approved the Essentia Health ambulance contract, and approved selling a corner lot along Highway 9 to Nic Prothero for $4,000.

The Ada City Council meets next on January 21st for a special session to discuss 2021 projects.
