(Brainerd, MN) — Shedding a light to environmental concerns and celebrations during the time of Global Pandemic has not been an easy task, but the Wild & Scenic Film Festival is pulling out all of the stops this weekend at the Northland Arboretum.
Northland Arboretum Director Candace Zimmerman took time to speak with us about the events leading up to this Saturday for the Festival.
Those ten films will provide viewers a chance to look inward and rediscover their connection with and responsibility to the natural world, from the Arctic Coast to Africa to the East and West Coasts of the United States that were hand-picked by Wild & Scenic.
By going to the Northland Arboretum website, you can learn more about the Wild & Scenic Film Festival and other information on the Arboretum.
The Arboretum and the Festival offer a chance for younger generations to learn about how they can make a difference.
The funds from the Festival go right back into the Arboretum, which has been one of many businesses and nonprofits that have felt their share of hard times with the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is Saturday, January 9th with the virtual lobby opening at 6:30pm and films starting at 7pm all for $5. The Festival is sponsored by the Arboretum, Hubbard Radio, R&J Broadcasting, Inc, and Lakeland Public Television.
