Year in Review – Ada Committees
As the new year gets underway, the City of Ada is looking for community members who would be interested in serving on any of their various committees. Ada Mayor John Hintz, who is in charge of making committee appointments, has expressed interest in adding some fresh faces to the city committees in 2021. Ada City Administrator Ashley Larson notes that committees are an excellent way for citizens to get their feet wet in local government and make a difference in their community.
Mayor Hintz plans to make those committee appointments at their January 5th council meeting.
In addition to committee assignments, the Ada City Council will need to appoint a new councilmember as a vacancy was declared at their December meeting. Those interested in serving on the council should contact Mayor Hintz, any current councilmember, or City Hall. The person appointed would serve a 2 year term.
