Pillager School Board Meeting from 12-21-20
(PILLAGER, MN) — The Pillager School Board met on Monday, December 21, for the final time in the year 2020, so we spoke with superintendent Mike Malmberg to get caught up on the latest news.
Malmberg said one of the first things that got done was the approval of the final levy for next year, which represents a 4 percent reduction from 2020.
The board also discussed the new guidelines that were available regarding COVID and how those could affect Pillager schools.
Malmberg then updated us on the learning models the school would be using to start the spring semester.
January 4th is also a significant date for high school activities, with it being the earliest date in which teams can hold practices. Malmberg talked about what the school’s plans were for getting those going.
To wrap up, Malmberg turned his gaze toward 2021 and discussed some of the goals of the school board moving forward.
We thank superintendent Malmberg for his time. Our full interview with him may be found below.
