Hawley, MN — The Hawley School District, which is currently in a hybrid learning model, will be temporarily switching to Distance Learning before and after the Holiday break. COVID-19 cases in the district remain low. In fact there are zero known cases in students or staff at this point, but Hawley High School Principal Kelly Anderson notes that they want to incorporate distance learning around the break as it’s likely students will be traveling and/or gathering with others during the Holiday.
Principal Anderson adds that because distance learning may be quite inconvenient for some families, the school building is always open to students in search of a more favorable learning environment during those days.
Hawley students will dismiss for the Holiday break on Wednesday, December 23rd at 1pm.
