Fosston, MN –The Fosston City Council held a regular scheduled meeting on Monday the 14th. End of the year city council meetings never fail to bring a plethora of items to the agenda and this was true for council members on Monday night. Probably the biggest item, that happens every year, was the Truth in Taxation public hearing to review the proposed budget for 2021 and the proposed property tax levies, this according to Fosston City Administrator Cassie Heide.
During this year, street and utility improvements have been taking place. The final assessments on those projects were discussed at the meeting and it appears that there will be more improvement projects taking place in 2021.
The next city council meeting for the City of Fosston will take place in 2021 on January 11th.
