Ada, MN — 4-H stands for Head, Hands, Heart, and Health and most often through the year we hear about local 4-H’ers using their Head and Hands for their various projects and activities throughout the year, but recently the Norman County 4-H’ers showed off their big hearts through a community service project. In an effort to lift the spirits of those in area nursing homes, 4-Her’s in Norman County recently took the time to send them greeting cards ahead of the holiday season, according to Norman County 4-H Director Linda Houglum.

Houglum also shared how proud she is of the 4-H youth this year for all their resiliency and what they were able to accomplish despite all the changes from the pandemic.

Linda Houglum joins the KRJB Kaleidoscope Program on the 2nd Monday of each month.
