Enbridge kicks off Line 3 Pipeline Construction

(Minnesota) — After years of legal battles and waiting on approval of permits, Enbridge was able to introduce a virtual “kickoff’ of the Line 3 Pipeline Construction with comments from Enbridge employees and members of the communities that will see impacts from the Pipeline.
Line 3 Project Vice President Leo Golden spoke about the length of the project in northern Minnesota and their goals.
Enbridge says they will continue to update their COVID-19 safety practices with guidance from local and State assistance. District 8 Congressman Pete Stauber lent his two cents on the local impact of the pipeline.
Hill City Mayor Dan Kingsley, a member of the 49ers Union, spoke about how the town has seen increased activity.
