Hill City hires new City Clerk; approves 2021 Budget, Levy

(Hill City, MN) — The Hill City Council held their monthly meeting Tuesday with approval of the 2021 Budget and Levy to go along with numerous Department Reports.

Hill City Mayor Dan Kingsley mentioned the Truth and Taxation meeting went well, followed by a citizen speaking during the Open Forum.

Of note from the Department Reports, the Hill City Airport is closed for traffic and scheduled fire truck repairs for the Hill City Fire Department.

The City of Hill City did also hire a new City Clerk.

The 2021 Budget and Levy was passed by the Council.

The Council also heard from resident Lonnie Lee to vacate property in town and they will be taking it under advisement. The City also reviewed a letter addressed to the Hill City Police Department.

The City of Hill City Council will next meet on Tuesday, December 22nd at 6pm from the Hill City Fire Hall.
