Bell Ringers needed in Lakes Area

(Aitkin County) — Bell ringers with the Salvation Army are still needed this holiday season and there are numerous opportunities in Aitkin County and the Lakes Area.

Paulbeck’s County Market in Aitkin has available two-hour shifts through Wednesday, December 23rd. To sign up, call Kari Paulsen at 218-735-6121, email, or you can register online by following the link with this story at www.rjbroadcasting.com. Paulbeck’s will be COVID-19 compliant.

Donations can also be given to Salvation Army in the McGregor Area for can be given at Ukura’s Big Dollar. Live volunteers and bell ringers are on hold this year, but contact Tom and Shirley Scollard at 218-426-3527 to donations to the Greater McGregor Area.

Last year, nearly $15,000 was given locally to help neighbors and friends in need, all through the Red Kettle Campaign.
