Ada, MN — The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce wants families to know that Santa Claus IS coming to town this Saturday, December 5th as part of the Old Fashioned Family Christmas Festival. This year, however, he won’t be coming to the Ada Events Center. Instead, he’s heading to the brightest lights in town, Mike and Angie Nelson’s Winter Wonderland display, where he will greet children in socially distant style. Lee Ann Hall with the Ada Chamber of Commerce says they welcome families to stop by, say “Hi” to Santa, and grab some treats and crafts to-go.
Despite the ongoing pandemic, Hall says it was really important for the Chamber of Commerce to still be able to offer some sort of visit with Santa that was both safe and fun.
Families can also get in the giving spirit this weekend as well as the Ada Fire Department will be accepting donations for the food shelf and the Ada Future Leaders Gifts for Youth program.
The Nelson’s Winter Wonderland is located at 209 N Jamison Drive in Ada.
The Old Fashioned Family Christmas Festival kicks off today with the annual Soup and Pie Day.
