(Aitkin, MN) — As the Aitkin Public School District is adjusting to Distance Learning for Grades 4-12 and the Holidays coming around, we spoke with Superintendent Dan Stifter for his monthly update with all of the changes around COVID-19.

Superintendent Stifter mentioned the reasoning behind the learning model change and why Grades PreK-3 remain with in-person learning.

Grades 4-12 will be Distance Learning until Friday, January 15th, as it currently stands. Stifter also talked about how students have been making the adjustments throughout the year.

Winter Sports also remains up in the air, in the terms of when practices and games will take place.

Some good news has also come out in recent days.
