(Aitkin, MN) — District 10B State Representative Dale Lueck recapped a week concerning Governor Tim Walz’s latest COVID-19 restrictions that effectively shutdown bars and restaurants for a 4-week time period on November 21st.
Representative Lueck spoke of the reasoning behind the restrictions led by the increase of COVID-19 cases in recent weeks.
Now into the winter months and workers being laid off and furloughed in the area, making payments for utilities will become more difficult, which present more problems.
Lueck also talked about the importance for area deer hunters to not only have their harvested deer tested for Chronic Wasting Disease but also for them to get tested for COVID-19.
Lueck also touched on more permits being issued for Enbridge’s Line 3 Pipeline and what that means for the project.
