Fosston, MN — The Fosston School Board was able to hold a regular monthly meeting last week in amid all of the chaos that has been going on as of late. Some positive things that are happening around the district is construction punch-list items are getting done in hopes of wrapping up the long construction that has been taking place since this summer. The board also heard an excellent principal report from High School Principal Dominic Krump saying that well over 50% of students were on the A or B honor roll.
Superintendent Sue Chase adds that the board also met with Elementary Student Leaders via google meets about an informational video that is being made and will soon be ready for the public to see.
The board also had a lengthy discussion regarding the district’s learning model. Currently the Fosston High School is in distance learning and the elementary is in person but there is going to be a change to that model beginning next week.
Superintendent Chase adds that the school is offering different services to students and families that struggle with distance learning. If you would like more information regarding those services, you can contact the district office.
