(Minnesota) — The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the Minnesota Four Wheel Drive Associations (Mn4WDA) are inviting members of the public to a virtual summit to discuss current and future off-road vehicle opportunities.
The virtual Summit will take place November 18th from 6-7:30pm with a recording of the event to be available after the event.
With state-appropriated funds from 2019, the Minnesota ORV Master Plan will identify ways to enhance ORV opportunities and expand the associated social and economic benefits for local communities. Project elements include data collection in existing trail use and user experience, and engagement with ORV enthusiast associations and those involved in other forms of outdoor recreation.
Those wishing to attend the virtual summit or complete the survey to voice one’s vision for the state’s ORV system through February 28th, may go to www.MNORVmasterplan.org. The website also includes more information about the project, and will be updated periodically with the new information about public engagement opportunities, surveys, and interactive maps.
